ΙΙ) SECRETARY MINUTES & TREASURER REPORTS
No minutes or Treasurer’s Report available. Will be at next meeting
ΙΙΙ) ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Soulard market will be open on Dec 23 and 24 from 8a-3p
Susan from Lafayette Prep Academy spoke about the school, which will open next year to serve kindergarten and first-graders. It will be located downtown for 2yrs before moving to Lafayette Square.
Amy spoke about her group, “Pub & Ponder” that meets the 2nd Wed of every month at Soulard Station. She is with First Christian Church of Edwardsville but the group is open to all. Alderwoman Young spoke about Central Library opening on Wed.
Officer Miller: Twice as many Officers are patrolling streets at night. Burglaries may be down yr over yr but still a concern. Do not leave things out in the open in house or car. Take a look through your own windows to see what criminals can see. 1st degree burglary charges happen when dwelling is occupied. 2nd degree=not occupied.

VΙ) COMMITTEE REPORTS
Beautification: None
Code & Zoning/Plan Review Team (PRT): Dollar Tree opening next to Bread Co. Construction happening at 814 Russell. Committee looking at proposal from the City on Solar Panel code. Subway franchisee submitted plans for proposed building at 7th and Geyer. More work needed. City ordinance requires permit for any work. If you question something: call 314-231-1212.
Communications: Jack Yaekel is stepping down as the head of the committee. John Butler is taking over. Jack’s dedication and leadership in heading the committee was applauded.
Fundraising: Parlour Tour raised $12,600 in ticket sales. $4,400 in sponsorship came in. Sold $400 of merchandise. 612 tickets sold. Smarti Gras is Jan. 19 at Franklin Room. $200/table before Dec 31, $240 after. Tickets available at Soulard.org
