Police Report: Officer Sherdon Douglas
Summarized the crime information for the month of December 2019.
At the time of the meeting, the normal Soulard crime statistics was not yet available for the month of December.
Treasurer’s Report: Jeff Roberts
Jeff made copies available of the Profit &Loss Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows for July – December 2019.
An independent auditor is being retained and will start their review by February.
Old Business: Scott Plackemeier
Summarized the attached letter (dated Advent 2019) from Sts. Peter & Paul Church thanking SRG for our donation toward the lift in the parish hall lobby up to The Franklin Room as well as a brief update on the project.

General Membership Meeting Minutes.
Approval of the Minutes for the Wednesday, December 11, 2019 General Member Meeting as presented with the correction of 3 minor typographical errors.

Those present voted in favor of this motion. No votes opposed it.

12 Bars of Charity Pub Crawl held on 12/21/2019
Scott briefly discussed the issues the neighborhood had with this event and his contact with the event organizer. The SRG Board is preparing detailed questions for the organizer to ensure they are addressed before they hold another pub crawl in Soulard. We are also going to coordinate support from the Soulard Business Association (SBA).

Soulard Station: Marilyn Morris
The committee is considering the type of new alarm system for the Station.
Membership: Julie Price
Currently there are 310 residential members, 84 business members for a total of 394 SRG members.
SRG will be recruiting new members at the 1400 Russell apartment complex’s residents party on January 10th.
Tonight’s Social is at The Protagonist Café, 1700 S 9th St.
Members were encouraged to sign up to host the Socials after General Membership Meetings in 2020.
Beautification: Marilyn Morris
Nothing special to report this month.
Residential Promotion: Luann Denten
Santa to Soulard event on 12/13/2019 went well.

The next deadline for articles will be January 22, 2020, for the Mardi Gras edition.

SRG Board meeting Minutes were being uploaded to the Soulard.org website the evening of 1/8.
Parlour Tour: Neil Putz
Once again thanked all volunteers that made the event successful.
Plan Review Team (PRT) / Code & Zoning - Jay Gibbs
Minimal activity which is typical during the late fall/winter months.
2721 S. 11th is requesting to change from 1 dormer to 2 dormers.
1001 Russell is to have an open house before starting to lease space.
Broadway Ford Sales on 7th St (North of Soulard Market) may be purchased by a developer for possible apartments. It is outside of the Soulard Historic District.
12th & Ann (former Church property) is being resold by the Hotel developer due to the restrictions on overnight occupancy that was in the Church’s condition of sale.
Fundraising: Billy Tomber
There will not be a Smarty Gras Trivia Night this year.
Soulard Concert Series in 2020
Saturday May 9, 2020, the first of the concert series will be the Soulard Blues, Brews and Bites Festival (Soulard B3 Festival).
Dates for the 2020 concert series are May 9, June 20, August 1 and August 29.
The next Fundraising Committee meeting is on Thursday, January 9th, 2020.
Additional committee members are needed.

Queen of Hearts Raffle every Tuesday starting at 5:30 pm.
Third Friday Happy Hours to restart in April.
Mouse Races event will be on January 18th at St Vincent De Paul’s
Soulard Business Association (SBA) – Scott Plackemeier
No report this month.
Scott to ask SBA to have a representative at SRG Meetings to provide updates.
Soulard Special Business District (SSBD) – Billy Tomber
SSBD meetings are on the second Monday of every month at Soulard Station and start at 6:30 pm. The next meeting is on 1/13/2020. All are welcome to attend this meeting.
Mardi Gras Inc. (MGI) – Nancy Lambert
Due to weather concerns, the Children’s Parade for the MGI’s Winter Family Carnival will be delayed to 3pm on Saturday, January 11, 2020.
The Bacchanalian Ball is on Saturday February 1st.
Community Improvement District (CID) – Julie Price
Nothing special to report this month
The last 2 meetings were cancelled due to the Holidays.
Once revenues are available to the CID, approximately $30,000 to $50,000 of procedural costs for the establishment of the CID will need to be paid first.
