Every August, local artists and businesses donate finely crafted paintings, sculptures, floral arrangements, and more, in support of the SRG Beautification Committee. Beat the heat by stopping by the Soulard Station for a Saturday afternoon to bid on the excellent pieces offered by community members. This silent auction is a fun way to celebrate the end of summer, with floral arrangements showcasing vibrant late-season local blooms (and there might be some exotic plants once in a while, too!). Brighten up your office with a new photograph, find a lovely piece of jewelry to give as a gift, or bring home a unique botanical piece you won’t find in stores. No matter what you bid on, you know your dollars will go toward keeping our neighborhood as beautiful as the art pieces on display.
